Guest Chef Series

The Guest Chef Series in Partnership with Veuve Clicquot

Each evening diners will be able to enjoy a supper-club style menu designed by some of the leading lights of the UK culinary scene. Unique on this scale, the ‘Guest Chef Series’ will operate Monday to Saturday evenings from 6pm.

Echoing the museum’s ethos of both celebrating the past, and promoting the talent of the future, the series will see established names alongside up and coming chefs and food writers from this country and beyond.

The weekly changing menu, designed by the guest chef will be released the week prior to going live.

One Week,| Six Services,| Four Collaborators

As part of the Guest Chef Series we will be hosting a number of ‘one-off’ special events over the coming months featuring some of the finest chefs and food writers all whom will be cooking at Parabola.

From Monday 30 January to Saturday 4 February we will be welcoming Shaun Hill, Marianne Lumb, Paris Pop-Up and Vicki & Terence Conran to Parabola for six very special services. Each dinner will be a four-course supper club style affair and bookings will be taken for tables of 2-12 from 6.30 to 9.45pm.

Shaun Hill

Shaun is one of the country’s best-loved chefs and, having spent nearly 50 years in some of the best kitchens up and down the land, he is widely recognised by his peers and fans alike as a true legend of British cuisine. Currently Shaun is the chef / proprietor of the Walnut Tree Inn near Abergavenny (a mecca for many a hungry traveller) where he is still to be found behind the pass most services. It is a great honour to have Shaun with us for 'one night only'.

Marianne Lumb

Having been a runner up on Masterchef in 2009 Marianne went on to open her eponymous restaurant in Notting Hill in 2013. To describe the restaurant as bijou would be an understatement (there are just a handful of tables) so although it might sound trite it is fair to say that ‘Marianne' is small but perfectly formed. From her tiny kitchen Lumb is turning out some very impressive food so it is as a real treat to have her cooking with us on Tuesday 31 January.
